Hosting Basics
What You’ll Do
- Share your home with a student for 3 to 4 months
- Provide room and board – student can share a room
- Advise the exchange student on cultural customs
- Work with English language skills
Qualifications
- Enjoy teenagers
- Interest in other cultures
- Empathy
Support From Rotary
- The Rotary Club of Waupaca will invite the student to become part of the Rotarian community, offering cultural experiences and support
- A trained Exchange Officer available to help with any concerns
- Health insurance covering student during their stay
