Hosting Basics

What You’ll Do

  • Share your home with a student for 3 to 4 months
  • Provide room and board – student can share a room
  • Advise the exchange student on cultural customs
  • Work with English language skills

Qualifications

  • Enjoy teenagers
  • Interest in other cultures
  • Empathy

Support From Rotary

  • The Rotary Club of Waupaca will invite the student to become part of the Rotarian community, offering cultural experiences and support
  • A trained Exchange Officer available to help with any concerns
  • Health insurance covering student during their stay
